by Sports Aholic on August 24, 2010

Lebron James as we  known him can no longer call himself the “KING”. Kings don’t fold no circumstances they fight the battle at all cost, Lebrom leavin Cleveland drnounces his throne. He leaves to stand beside Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh in Wade’s county because he wants to win a championship that great, but at the same token even the greatest staye and deal with the agony of sefeatin the late 80′s Micheal Jordon couldn’t beat the Deroit “Bad Boys” Pistons literally getting abused but he with stood and overcame to win several championships also Kobe Bryant went truogh his triumphs when Shaq left the lakers until her got his confidence back he went on to win back-to-back championships. Can we keep it plain and simple?…….Can we?…..The Tin man wanted a heart……The cowardly lion wanted courage….It is going to take both for either team in these final 2 games?…The Lakers want a championship,The Celtics want a championship……A little bit of history repeating……..I have seen it before and I will see it again…..A little bit of history repeating……..It was a weird, and I mean a weird battle in Game 5…An early classic of kicks, punches, rook moves and bishop slides….The Judges were not going to give the HOME towns the foul shots as the NBA stated……..They tried….They tried to make it happened…One thing was missing……The LAKERS….Do you need to back it up and read it again? Should the game be played outside more?

by Casey Rudzinski on June 10, 2010

On Saturday, June 5th, the Seattle Storm and Los Angeles Sparks squared away in an outdoor WNBA game that combined the best of the playground outdoor crowd scene, while staying on the hardwood in uniform. This was first done at New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens – the site of the US Open – on July 19, 2008 when the Indiana Fever beat the New York Liberty, 71-55.

This game was similar but different as the losing team lost but came back to put on a show. The Sparks outscored the Storm in the 4th quarter, 28-16, but [Read more…]

Game one was a tough pill for Celtics fans to swallow and just what the doctor ordered in L.A……The Lakers pressed and pressed and did not allow the three……Ray Allen was tormented and rendered weak early with his rough fouls (kidding, he was marked last night)…..One has to admit without crying that the refs played this game as tight as the ump GOOD-EYE should have at the Tigers game the other night.(Boo hoo…I was hungover and missed the call)…..Rondo missed the layup…..Pierce missed the layups…Garnett seemed almost  second rate missing on the boards, picks and layups….(I counted 6 lay ups rimmed)…..What happened? by cjthekid on June 1, 2010
